Roots: We trace our roots back to 1995 when we began as the new Internet division of Marketplace Solutions, a leading provider of information systems to the hospitality industry. In 1997, this division was spun off as a separate company, Marketplace Commerce. In 2000, Marketplace Commerce merged with Iacobucci & Co., an advertising/marketing company in Birmingham, Michigan.

Today: Finally, in 2003, we formed Direct Knowledge and acquired Iacobucci & Co.'s Internet business. Throughout this history, we've expanded our know-how, our customer base and the powerful collection of web applications that we have created for our customers' websites.

Services: Direct Knowledge provides a broad range of Internet services to dozens of companies and organizations, both in Michigan and across the U.S. For many of our customers, we serve as 'the web department'...we handle all of their Internet, website and email activities. For others, we provide specific services, such as development of custom web applications.

Network: We often make use of our extensive network of associates to complete all of the facets of a project. Perhaps we need fabulous photography, professional copywriting, or simply more people working to complete a project by its due date. We have worked with professionals in many fields, and we can bring highly-skilled people to our project team as needed.

Results: For all of our customers, we focus on results, not just on the task at hand. We know that you rely on the Internet to make business happen and we work tirelessly to build the right technologies and keep them running flawlessly.
